For 15 years Social Works we have been dedicated to helping improve the quality of care that people experience. We do this through direct work with carers and service users in activities such as our new Independent Advocacy Service, as well as through our training and consultancy work with organisations providing care and support.

We are currently working with over 40 employers including councils, voluntary organisations and private care providers, helping them in their work with older people, people with learning disabilities, people with mental health challenges, those who have physical and sensory impairments and informal carers.

"... after hearing lots of horror stories I realise we are very lucky to have such a committed training provider in social Works. Emma is committed and helpful. The best assessor I have come across ... All of the team that Emma has trained so far have nothing but positive feedback and find her always available, flexible and supportive! I look forwards to our continued working relationship!" Janine, Registered manager, learning disabilities support provider.

‘As a growing Care Company we were looking for a training solution that not only met the care regulations but was tailored to the needs of our Clients and Carers. John and his team are always there to answer any questions and support us with effective delivery of the Care Certificate. Liezl, Dementia Awareness Trainer, has gone the extra mile to ensure participants receive practical dementia as well as theory based learning. Many learners report they feel fully involved and can relate to the course content. At a recent CQC visit the Inspectors were so impressed they asked for John’s card!
We have a strong partnership that promotes theory into practice, ensuring safety, wellbeing and person-centred care. Managing Care has grown in confidence thanks to Social Works knowledge and experience in the field of social care training.’

"Social Works do all our  training now through the QCF for a number of our branches. Our new staff are coming in now with more confidence and happy to have a 'proper qualification' under their belt. As well as the quality of the training, getting it all funded has saved us a small fortune" Kath, Head of Training & Staff Development.
